The Young Queer Alliance(YQA) marked the 24 of February in pink with the celebration of the International Stand Up Against Bullying day. Members of the local LGBTI communities as well as allies stood up together as one body to voice out against bullying.
The “Dare it? Wear PINK” was indeed a remarkable success that took the social media by storms and a proof of Mauritian youth solidarity for victims of bullying as well as a willingness to educate and positively reform bullies.
