Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan (Extra careful of marriage) is the latest movie release in Bollywood. It narrates about the road to achieving a happy ending which is a little too rough for two guys Kartik and Aman. While Aman’s family tries hard to battle his love for Kartik, Kartik isn’t prepared to step back until he marries Aman.
The movie is a spin-off of the 2017 film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. It tells the story of a gay man and his partner, who have trouble convincing their parents of their relationship.
Around the world
For the Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, playing the role of Kartik, the movie has for market segment the younger Indian population and trying to bridge the misunderstanding and lack of acceptance among LGBTQ people and their families.
However, countries such as Kenya and the United Arab Emirates have banned the movie.
In Mauritius, the movie will be aired at MCine, Ciné Kings, Anand, Novelty and Ciné Metropolitan.
