The British Council Mauritius is sharing three LGBTIQ+ themed short films with you from More Films For Freedom, building on the success of of #FiveFilmsForFreedom.
More Films For Freedom is a celebration of LGBTIQ+ stories. These films were made by British, Syrian, Palestinian and South African filmmakers.
The British Council in Mauritius is making these films available online throughout the winter, when many Pride celebrations have been postponed this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as a way of linking and celebrating LGBTIQ+ communities globally.
The British Council in partnership with BFI Flare, makes LGBTIQ+ themed short films available for the world to watch online for free, each year. The line-up of films, which showcases work by emerging filmmakers from across the globe, has been selected from BFI Flare’s programme in partnership with BFI Network.
